Mini home made pie consisting of layers of english cheddar, beetroot and pickle, wit a drizzle of red pepper coulis.
Gamecock Terrine
A homemade coarse game terrine, wrapped in bacon, on a bed of crisp salad, with a tomato and thyme chutney served with freshly baked bread.
King Prawn in filo pastry
King prawns wrapped in filo pastry, deep fried and served alongside fresh mixed salad and a Café de Paris mayonnaise.
Crispy Duck Pancake
Tender strips of duck, peppers & spring onions stir fried in a tasty hoi-sin sauce and rolled in a tortilla wrap.

Gamecock Pie
A Game Cock classic; mixed chunks of game stewed with leeks and onions in a rich red wine sauce, topped off with a light, suet pastry pie lid.
Fish & Chips
Fresh haddock dipped in our home made "Boozy" batter and deep fried until crisp, served with home made chips and mushy peas.
Boeuf Bourgiugnon
A traditional French dish consisting of our fresh local beef, carrots, onions, and mushrooms. Braised in red wine and served with our creamy Dauphinoise potatoes.
Mushroom Stroganoff V
Creamy mushroom stroganoff served with saffron rice.
Lapin à la moutarde
Traditional french recipe of tender rabbit slowly cooked in a mustard sauce served with potato gratin.
Fisherman’s Pie
A mixture of cod, salmon, smoked haddock and prawns in a creamy white wine, lemon and dill sauce. Topped with creamy mashed potato and melted cheese.
(Served with a mixed salad).
Lamb Shank
A generous shank of lamb slow cooked for tenterness in red wine and rosemary sauce. (Served with a chive mash)
Steaks
A selection of different cuts, cooked to your liking. All of which come from our local beef supplier and have been reared just 3 miles away. Served with onion rings, mushrooms and tomatoes.
Your choice of 12oz Rump, 12oz Rib-Eye, or 10oz sirloin, 12oz gammon or 14 oz T-Bone, cooked to your liking.

The Gamecock Giant Burger
Fresh minced local beef, shaped into large burgers, topped with Mozzarella, panchetta and onion ring, in a fresh ciabatta served with tomato relish and chips.
Vegetarian Fajitas
Vegetable stir fry, cooked in a barbecue sauce, encased in a tortilla wrap topped with mozzarella cheese and served with a mixed salad & tomato salsa.
Traditional Italian Meatballs
Home made pork meatballs, slowly cooked in a tomato & basil ragu sauce, presented on a bed of fresh tagliatelle served with melted mozzarella.
Sicilian Chicken
Fresh chicken breast filled with mozzarella cheese, sun dried tomato and fresh basil, gently wrapped in Palma ham combined with a chicken and tarragon jus.
For the Children
We will be happy to serve smaller portions of the main menu where possible.

Whole pieces of deep fried cod, served with homemade chips and baked beans.

Chunks of deep fried chicken breast, served with homemade chips and baked beans.
Game Cock Kids Pizza
A freshly prepared 9" pizza, cooked in our stone based oven.
